Learn New Things Each Day

I decided that before I start writing too much in my story, I should research writing.

I've found many different helpful things. Including all different types of writing.

I've searched essay writing, novel writing, short story writing, and article writing. I've taken notes in my notebook too. I can't wait to start writing and publish my work. I'll be so excited!

Late Night Thinking

So far, I've been able to come up with all of my main characters that are important to the store line of my book, their backgrounds, and the setting for my book. I feel slightly accomplished.

Anyway, as the title suggests, it's just a few late night (random) thoughts. My mind is turning a million miles a minute right now, so I'll just post my thought processes at this time:

-why are some people stupid?
-momma always said, stupid is as stupid does
-Huh that's from Forrest Gump I haven't seen that in a while
-Oh hey that's on Netflix
-Hey this is a good song
-I think I'll make the character in my book a tough girl
-But not so tough girls get cuddled, tough girls don't get cuddled. They don't like it
-You're right.

Honestly, I think it's time for bed!

Writing as a Passion

Many people view writing as a chore or simply as a homework assignment. I, however, do not.

To me, writing is an important part of life. I enjoy it in every aspect. It's fun and helps to clear my head when I have something happening in my life.

Growing up, I always felt happiest when I received a notebook and pencil. No matter what, those were my most favorite things in the world. When I went shopping, I always wanted to buy a notebook and a pack of pencils. I had notebooks all over my house that only had a couple pages written on because I was constantly buying more and more.

Then once I got into high school, I realized I enjoyed writing. And once I reached my Junior and Senior years, I had one of the most amazing teachers ever. He actually has published his own books on Amazon. He taught me that writing is fun and interesting, but it's also important to have time for other things too. Such as people. I feel so grateful to have had to opportunity to be in his classes.

I enjoy writing because I write anything I feel. Whatever crosses my mind, I write. I may write about a passionate romance one day, and then start a short article about raising kids, only to turn back around to write a blog about how colors effect your sex life. Ok, that last one isn't true and I honestly do not know if they do or not, but it helps you understand my concept.

Some other things I enjoy besides writing is music and walking. I grew up and still live in Oklahoma. I love the beauty of this state. It's amazing, especially during Summer when the trees are filled with leaves and during Autumn when the leaves change from green to red to orange and yellow. Walking through the woods here is an extraordinary experience.

Currently, I'm working on a romance novel about a young woman with a troubling past and uncertain future who meets a gentleman that is her complete opposite, yet he refuses to give up on making sure she has a future to look forward to.

And that's all the information I'm giving you on that right now. I will be updating everyday about writing, and occasionally I'll update where I am with my novel.
